Since  Kazlıceşme is in the center of İstanbul the goverment forced leather industry to its new area Tuzla Industry Zone.Herkim moved to its new modern  building including warehouses laboratories an sales offices.Herkim moved its admistritive and finance center in Mecidiyekoy , the banking district of İstanbul.

With the establishment of Tuzla Free Trade Zone Herkim established Mepan Foreign Trade Company. Mepan  with the acency agreements is develop both import and export facilities of Herkim Group.

 

Helsa is the  professional sales organization of Herkim Group focused on comodity chemicals and industrial  chemicals which are imported by Mepan the import export company.

 

Farben started production of binders to Paint industry opened the way of entering new industries to Herkim Group.

 

To develop the comunication Herkim moved its financial and admistritive center from Mecidiyekoy to Tuzla main building.
